Path of Building – Passive Skill Tree

You can find an optimized Path of Building here. Every build I release will use the community fork of Path of Building, which is maintained and updated in a much more regular fashion than the original one. You can find PoB’s Fork, by LocalIdentity, here.

Awakened Gems

A lot of gems nowadays in Path of Exile have Awakened versions. These version will generally be a lot more powerful than the widely available Regular versions. Therefore the should be purchased whenever you can afford them. When the gems listed down here mention Awakened Gems, you are supposed to use their regular versions until you can afford the upgrade.

For most people, leveling these Gems up takes way too much time so you’re generally offered two choices.

• You can just buy a leveled version.
• You can buy the Wild Brambleback beasts and use the Menagerie craft to upgrade Increase the level of non-Corrupted Awakened Gem by 1.

Gem Setups

Explosive Arrow – Main Link (6-Link)

We’re suggesting you pick up Awakened gems as soon as you can, however, before you can afford those, slotting in regular ones is just fine.

1. Explosive Arrow
2. Ballista Totem Support
3. Lifetap Support
4. Awakened Elemental Damage with Attacks Support
5. Ignite Proliferation Support
6. Combustion Support

Frenzy

Use this while your totems are DPS’ing down rougher enemies. This applies a curse and gives you frenzy charges.

1. Frenzy
2. Hextouch Support
3. Flammability
4. Greater Multiple Projectiles Support
5. Life Gain on Hit Support
6. Lifetap Support

Auras

Before you have access to the pretty expensive implicit on your helmet, you can’t run the Defiance Banner.

Utility

Arcanist Brand is applying your Flame Surge to debuff enemies. the other 2 link is our CWDT molten shell setup make it is done in 2 2-linked and as a full 4-linked

1. Arcanist Brand
2. Flame Surge

1. Cast when Damage Taken Support (Level 1)
2. Vaal Molten Shell (Level 10)

Dash is our movement skill of choice, but you can use Flame Dash or Blink Arrow if you so chose. Pop Vaal Molten Shell when you’re in danger or fighting annoying enemies.
